Ohm’s Law:

Voltage = Current x Resistance

Note: Some components have a more complex relationship with current, so this formula does not apply to all circuits.

 

Resistors in series:

Rtotal = R1 + R2 + R3

The resistors in these circuits are in series: one after another. To find the total resistance, we add the values together.
